News: Driver injured in rollover crash near Whiteman AFB

KANSAS CITY, MO – A man was injured when his semi-truck rolled over near the Whiteman Air Force Base on Tuesday afternoon.

According to a report by the MSHP, 30-year-old Nzitonda Herve lost control of his 2015 Volvo Tractor when he attempted to avoid hitting an animal on Route Y. The truck then skidded off the right side of the roadway and flipped onto its side.

Herve, who is from Odessa, Texas, was treated for minor injuries by EMS at the scene.
