News: Man critically injured after falling off roof working at local business in Shawnee

SHAWNEE, MO – A maintenance worker was injured when he fell off the roof of a pizza shop in Shawnee Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Shawnee Mission Post, the man was doing HVAC work at Old Shawnee Pizza when he fell from a ladder on the east side of the building.

Emergency personnel arrived at 6000 Roger Road off Neiman Road around 3 p.m. The man suffered serious injuries from falling 15 feet and was transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. He is reported to be in critical condition at this time.
