News: Orrick man killed in motorcycle accident in Lafayette Co.

LAFAYETTE CO., MO – A man from Orrick was killed in a motorcycle accident in Lafayette County this evening, KMZU reports.

The crash occurred as 52-year-old Sean Buchanan was westbound on US-24 near MO-131 at about 7 p.m.

Troopers say Buchanan veered off the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a curb, throwing him from the motorcycle.

Buchanan was rushed to Lafayette County Regional Hospital, where he died a short time later.
