News: Corder man injured in trucking accident in Pettis Co.
PETTIS CO., MO – A man from Corder was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle crash near Hughesville on Friday morning.
According to a report by MSHP, the crash took place shortly after 7 a.m. along Route D just east of MO-127.
Troopers say 55-year-old James Brooks lost control of his 2011 Kenworth tractor-trailer for unknown reasons. The truck went off the side of the roadway and hit two signs before striking a concrete culvert.
Brooks was taken to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia with minor injuries.
