News: 2 people injured in EB US-50 crash in Warrensburg
WARRENSBURG, MO – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on EB US-50 just west of the Business 50 junction on Tuesday morning.
Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2018 Buick Enclave, driven by 18-year-old Andrew M. Anderson, was traveling east on US-50 when it traveled off the highway. It struck a 2011 Ford Fiesta, driven by 39-year-old Aaron W. Reed, that was stopped on the shoulder around 10:33 a.m.
The impacted caused the Buick to travel back onto the highway, overturn, and then come to a stop on the side of the interstate.
Anderson and Reed were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for moderate injuries. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
MSHP reports both vehicles were totaled.
