News: Driver injured after car goes airborne, flips in DeKalb

DEKALB COUNTY, MO – A Maysville woman is hurt after a rollover crash that sent her vehicle airborne in DeKalb County on Wednesday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the crash occurred at around 9:59 p.m. at Fairview and Ketchum Roads south of Amity when a driver in a northbound Ford Focus struck an embankment after passing Ketchum Road. The vehicle came to rest on its top after going airborne.

The driver, 34-year-old Monica M Wormsley, was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries. Records indicate she was wearing a proper safety belt.
