News: Man, 39, dead after fiery crash in Jackson Co.

JACKSON COUNTY, MO – A single-vehicle crash led to a fatality on Route F Thursday morning. 

The collision occurred before 5:30 a.m., according to the MSHP Traffic Report Page. A driver of a 2017 Hyundai Veloster lost control of his car. He collided with a sign, a barrier, and a tree. As a result, his vehicle caught fire. 

Troopers identified the man as Jefferson Hilton, 39, of Kingsville, Missouri. Hilton succumbed to injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
