News: Kansas City pedestrian fatally struck by semi on I-44

PHELPS COUNTY, MO – A woman was struck and killed on I-44 in Phelps County Sunday morning.

According to KRMS, Jessica Damitz was walking in the eastbound lane of the interstate when an 18-wheeler hit her.

Damitz was pronounced dead at the scene.
