News: Woman hurt on I-470 NB after two-vehicle collision

KANSAS CITY, MO – A woman was injured in a collision with another driver on the northbound lanes of I-470 early Thursday evening.

The incident happened around 5 p.m. as Kyla R. Porter, of Jefferson City, was traveling north on the interstate near Woods Chapel Road. She slowed for traffic ahead when the driver behind her slammed into her vehicle reports the Missouri State Highway Patrol. 

Porter was taken to Centerpoint Medical Center after suffering minor injuries in the crash. The other driver was not hurt.
