News: Accident blocks lane on I-29 near Platte City
PLATTE CITY, MO – At least one lane on I-29 was blocked following a crash north of Platte City this morning.
According to a report by Missouri DoT, the crash happened at about 11:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the interstate near Sharp’s Station Road.
🛑TRAFFIC ALERT: There is a two-vehicle crash on I-29 southbound past MM 23.8. The right lane is currently closed.

The cause of the crash is not mentioned in the report. However, significant delays were reported in the area for some time afterward while crews worked to clear the scene.
