News: Teen driver injured in Cass Co. collision

CASS CO., MO – A teen driver was sent to the hospital following a single-vehicle crash in the Raymore area on Wednesday night.

According to a report by MSHP, the accident happened shortly after 8 p.m. near the intersection of Kurzweil Road and Gore Road.

Troopers say the 17-year-old driver of a 2004 Honda suffered a medical emergency, causing him to lose control of his vehicle and crash off the left side of the roadway.

The teen was taken to Belton Regional Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
