News: Blowout causes rollover, collision, one injury on I-35 near Cameron
CLINTON COUNTY, MO – A woman was injured after a tire blowout caused her vehicle to overturn and strike a truck near Cameron on Thursday morning.
The MSHP reports that the driver of a Lincoln Navigator, 55-year-old Jared Guzman, was travelling southbound on Interstate 35 when the vehicle blew a tire. Guzman’s vehicle went off the road and flipped, striking a Freightliner truck while doing so.
A passenger in the Navigator, 41-year-old Blanca Perez Garcia, was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
Garcia and the drivers of both vehicles were reportedly wearing their seatbelts.
No other injuries were reported.
