News: Overland Park man injured in motorcycle vs pedestrian crash in Lafayette County
LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MO – A pedestrian was injured in a motorcycle accident in Lafayette County on Thursday afternoon
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the accident occurred close to 4:15 p.m. on MO 224 and Shady Lane when a Suzuki driven by 34-year-old William Campbell of Independence struck Bhyshan Madan of Overland Park, 46, while he was crossing the roadway.
The report indicates that Campbell’s vehicle had crossed the centerline of the roadway before striking Madan.
Madan was taken to Lafayette County Region Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
No other injuries were reported in the incident.
