News: Pedestrian struck by two cars and killed on Highway 71 in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – A pedestrian was killed in an accident in Kansas City on Sunday morning in which they were struck by two cars, reports The Kansas City Star.

The accident was close to 5:53 a.m. in the southbound lanes of 71 Highway near 43rd Street when a Nissan Altima struck a pedestrian crossing the highway.

The pedestrian was also hit by a Nissan Rogue following closely behind the Altima.

The unidentified pedestrian was declared dead at the scene by responders.

Both drivers cooperated with responders when they arrived at the scene.
