News: Tailgating feat causes 4-vehicle crash in Oak Grove

OAK GROVE, MO – A 20-year-old man was hospitalized after a four-vehicle crash on the westbound lanes of I-70 Thursday.

A driver of a 2010 Hyundai Elantra was tailgating two Freightliner Cascadias and hit the back of the 2015 Freightliner Cascadia, according to the MSHP Live Traffic Report Page

The impact of the collision caused the driver of the 2022 Freightliner Cascadia to jackknife, and the trailer of the 2022 Freightliner struck the back of the Hyundai.

Some parts of the Elantra came off, which led to a driver of a 2022 Nissan Armada crashing into it.

All the drivers were spared from injuries except for 20-year-old Ekzaveus Domerse, the Hyundai driver.

Domerse was taken to Centerpoint Medical Center for moderate injuries.
