News: Head-on crash in Platte Ridge leaves 2 injured

KANSAS CITY, MO – Two women suffered injuries resulting from a head-on crash in northwest Kansas City early Friday morning.

According to a report by the MSHP, the driver of a 2011 Chevrolet crossed into the oncoming lanes of Park Forest Lane near 73rd Place and slammed head-on into a 2017 Ford.

Two occupants in the Ford, a 17-year-old female and a 21-year-old female, suffered minor injuries in the wreck.

It is unclear if the 39-year-old man in the Chevrolet will face any charges in connection to the crash at this time.
