News: Passenger injured in single-vehicle crash on Highway M

JOHNSON CO., MO – A 47-year-old man was injured when his vehicle skidded off of Highway M near Columbus this morning.

According to a report by the MSHP, the crash took place at about 9:23 a.m. just north of the intersection with NW 700 Road.

Troopers say 66-year-old Andrew Sherman lost control of his vehicle, causing it to skidd across the ice and crash into a power pole.

47-year-old Jason Tronstad, a passenger in the car, suffered minor injuries in the crash. Sherman was unhurt.
