News: Single-vehicle crash on MO-58 leaves 2 injured

JOHNSON CO., MO – Two individuals, including a juvenile, were injured in a single-vehilce crash near Holden on Friday morning.

According to a report by the MSHP, the collision took place just after 10 a.m. on MO-58, near Southwest 701 Road.

Troopers say the 20-year-old driver of a 1998 Ford failed to negotiate a curve, causing the vehicle to run off the side of the road and strike a highway sign.

The driver, Colin Morelock, was rushed to Research Medical Center in serious condition. His 16-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries in the crash.
