News: Man killed in collision on I-435

KANSAS CITY, MO – A man has died after being hit by a Dodge Ram on I-435 southbound early Sunday morning.

The accident happened on the interstate near NE 53rd Street, around 2 a.m.

According to KCTV, a silver Kia was parked on I-435 southbound without lights or blinkers on in the number three lane. The man walked out in front of the sedan and was hit by the Dodge Ram. The truck driver was traveling southbound in the number two lane.

The man was transported to the hospital and died Sunday morning.
