News: 3 vehicle crash on I-470 results in injuries

KANSAS CITY, MO – Two people were injured in a car crash involving three vehicles on I-470 near Blue Springs on Saturday afternoon.

The accident happened when three vehicles were traveling southbound just after Lakewood Blvd.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a driver of a Dodge Ram struck the rear of a Nissan Murano, causing the Nissan to slide out of control. A driver in a GMC Yukon then crashed into the Nissan.

The driver of the GMC Yukon and a passenger in the Dodge Ram were both transported to Centerpoint Medical Center for minor injuries.
