News: Car accident on I-35 leaves 1 person injured

KANSAS CITY, MO – One person was injured in an accident with another driver on I-35 N this past Saturday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, both vehicles were traveling northbound on I-35 near Brighton Ave when a Kia Sportage driver hit the cable barrier on the left side of the road. Another driver in a Nissan struck a wheel of the Kia.

The Kia’s driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to North Kansas City Hospital.The driver of the Nissan was not injured in the accident. 

The exact cause of the vehicles’ collision is unknown at this time.
