News: One injured in 2-vehicle crash on I-470 EB

JACKSON COUNTY, MO – A woman was injured when her car was struck on eastbound I-470 east of Douglas last night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, both vehicles were traveling east when a teenage driver in a Chevrolet Silverado struck the rear of the woman’s Jeep Liberty.

She was transported to St. Luke’s East Hospital for her injuries. The teenage truck driver was unharmed. 

No further details on the cause of the accident have been disclosed.
