News: 2 injured when struck by semi on I-57 SB

MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, MO – Two people were injured when their vehicle was struck by a 2020 Kenworth on I-57 southbound in southern Missouri this evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on the interstate when a driver in the semi-truck crossed the center line and struck a GMC Acadia.

The driver of the GMC was seriously injured, while the occupant sustained minor injuries. Both were transported to an area hospital.
