HARRISON COUNTY, MO – One person was seriously injured after their semi was struck by another on I-35 SB north of Eagleville late last month.
Montora A. Johnson, 38, was traveling southbound on I-35 when the left front tire detached on their 1999 Freightliner, reports the Missouri State Highway Patrol. He swerved into the northbound lanes where he collided with a 2015 Freightliner, driven by Thomas C. Einerson, 58.
After impact, Johnson’s semi came to rest on the right shoulder of I-35 southbound. The second truck traveled off the west side of the roadway, crossed the median, and came to rest facing north.
Einerson was seriously injured and life-flighted to Unity Point Health Hospital.
