News: Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run outside of Springfield

HIGHLANDVILLE, MO – A 67-year-old woman was struck and killed by a vehicle south of Springfield in Christian County yesterday afternoon.

The victim, Debra D. Dove, was walking on Myron White Road when she was struck by a vehicle around 3:30 p.m, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The vehicle that hit her fled the scene.

Dove was transported to Cox South Hospital, where she died of her injuries.
