News: Woman killed in two-vehicle Westport crash

KANSAS CITY, MO – A 26-year-old woman died in an early morning car crash involving two vehicles in Westport this Friday.

According to FOX4, the crash happened around 1:44 a.m. at West 39th Street and Southwest Trafficway. A driver in a Ford SUV crashed into a Buick at the intersection.

The woman was a passenger in the Buick and was pronounced dead at the scene. Both the driver of the Buick and SUV suffered minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
