News: 1 injured in multi-vehicle crash hit-and-run

PLATTE COUNTY, MO – One driver was injured in a crash involving three vehicles on I-29 Monday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, all three cars were traveling southbound on I-29 when an unknown driver in a white sedan struck the rear of a Toyota Solara. The impact caused the Toyota to hit a Chevrolet Malibu.

The Toyota skidded off the roadway and overturned down an embankment where it came to rest on its top. Colbin Howard, 19, the Toyota’s driver sustained minor injuries.

The driver in the white sedan who caused the crash fled the scene. The Chevrolet’s driver was uninjured.
