News: 2 injured in Pettis Co. multi-vehicle crash

PETTIS COUNTY, MO – Two people were injured after a crash west of Kansas City on Sunday evening.

The crash happened around 7:15 p.m. on Route Y at MO-127, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. 

A driver in a Chevrolet Camaro was traveling westbound when they slowed to make a turn across traffic. At the same time, a driver in a Ford Explorer headed eastbound failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed into the passenger side of the Camaro.

Both drivers were injured. The driver in the Ford was treated on the scene for minor injuries. The Camaro’s driver was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center.
