News: 1 seriously injured in crash with semi-truck on I-29 SB
HOLT COUNTY, MO – A driver was seriously injured when she crashed with a semi on I-29 southbound last week.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened as two drivers were traveling south on I-29, about 13 miles south of Mound City.
A driver in a 2017 Peterbilt attempted to merge into the shoulder. A woman in a Chevrolet Malibu struck the towed unit as the semi was merging.
The woman sustained serious injuries and was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. The semi’s driver was uninjured in the crash.
