News: MSHP trooper injured after police chase ends in crash

KANSAS CITY, MO – A Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper was injured in a crash after a suspect fled police in Kansas City Wednesday.

According to KSHB, the police chase began near Independence Avenue and Hardesty Avenue. The suspects evaded police until they were caught near east 16th Avenue and Diamond Parkway.

One officer sustained minor injuries after his vehicle was hit in the chase.

Officers arrested two people involved in the incident.
