News: Kansas City woman killed in Montgomery Co. collision
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, KS – A woman from Kansas City died and a man was injured after a two-vehicle crash in Montgomery County last Saturday.
According to KOAM, the crash happened northeast of Coffeyville, KS at the intersection of County Road 2800 and County Road 5700.
31-year-old Katie C. Michels of Kansas City was driving east on CR 2800. Police say she may have run a stop sign leading to a collision with a Chevrolet Impala, driven by Tony L. Hood, 52,
Michels was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hood was taken to St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma to be treated for injuries.
