News: Man on moped critically injured after crash with SUV
KANSAS CITY, MO – A man was critically injured after a crash on his moped with another driver in northeast Kansas City Sunday evening.
A driver in a Honda CR-V and a male operator on a moped were both stopped at an intersection at Northeast Parvin Road and North Corrington Avenue.
As the light turned green and the driver in the Honda accelerated, the moped operator slammed into the rear of the SUV, reports KSHB.
He was ejected from his moped and crashed into the Honda’s rear windshield. He was rushed to an area hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the Honda was uninjured in the collision.
