News: Passenger killed, 2 seriously injured in Kansas City crash

KANSAS CITY, MO – One person was killed and two others were seriously injured after a crash on Ward Parkway Saturday night.

According to FOX4, the collision happened at the intersection of Ward Parkway and West 67th Terrace.

A driver in a GMC Terrain pulled out in front of a Volkswagon Passat, causing the collision. After impact, the GMC flipped and crashed into a light pole.

A back-seat passenger of the GMC was ejected from the vehicle. She was rushed to an area hospital where she died of her injuries.

The driver and a front-seat passenger in the GMC were both seriously injured in the crash.

The two occupants of the Volkwagon were uninjured.
