News: Motorcyclist killed days after crash on I-70

KANSAS CITY, MO – A man died of his injuries from a March 4th crash on I-70 Wednesday, reports KSHB.

The crash happened on I-70 westbound at Stadium Drive last Friday. A disabled vehicle was being loaded onto a tow truck, causing stopped traffic on the interstate.

A motorcyclist who was traveling west apparently did not see a stopped truck behind the tow truck and crashed into it. His bike went under the pickup and he was ejected into the roadway.

The 35-year-old was transported to a hospital with critical injuries which he later died from.

No one else was injured in the crash.
