News: 2 people injured after multi-vehicle crash off US-50 WB
COLE COUNTY, MO – Two people suffered injuries after a four-vehicle crash just off US-50 westbound Monday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened on Dix Road near US-50 westbound.
Malik Miller, 24, of Jefferson City was fleeing officers as he exited the highway and headed north on Dix Road. He failed to negotiate a turn and crashed into another driver in a Honda Accord.
The impact caused the driver in the Honda, 18-year-old Tiffany Ayala to spin out and crash into a Kia Telluride. The Kia then collided with a Chevrolet 3500.
Ayala sustained injuries and was transported to St. Mary’s Jefferson City Hospital. A passenger in Miller’s vehicle, 22-year-old Myron Mahaney was sent to the same hospital with injuries.
