News Update: Woman killed after hit by SUV in Midtown

KANSAS CITY, MO – A woman died of her injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Midtown on Tuesday evening.

According to KMBC, the unidentified woman was struck by an SUV while crossing a street near Broadway Boulevard and Linwood Boulevard.

The victim was initially taken to the hospital in critical condition but has since died from her injuries.

The driver of the SUV remained on the scene to speak with authorities.
