News: Kansas City truck driver indicted in connection to Boone Co. fatal crash

BOONE COUNTY, MO – Kevin Brunson was indicted on the charge of involuntary manslaughter in Boone County Friday, March 18 reports KWOS.

The charge is in connection to a December 22 fatal crash on I-70 westbound that killed Bryant Gladney.

Gladney, a Boone County Fire Protection Assistant Chief was responding to a previous crash on the interstate. He was struck while in his work vehicle by Brunson’s semi-truck.

Apparently, Brunson had received three separate citations in the past for not maintaining the brakes on his truck.
