News: Woman dies of injuries from February I-435 crash

KANSAS CITY, MO – A woman died after suffering injuries in a car accident on I-435 on Friday, reports KSHB.

The crash happened on I-435 eastbound near Bannister Road on February 16. Mary McGuire, 63, of Clinton, was a passenger in a Honda sedan that was struck by an unidentified driver.

The driver attempted to merge into the lane that the Honda was in. The driver of the Honda swerved left to avoid the other vehicle and struck a concrete jersey.

McGuire and the driver were both rushed to an area hospital. McGuire died on March 18. The condition of the other two involved is not known.
