News: Man seriously injured after collision in Lafayette Co.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MO – A man was seriously hurt after his car was struck by a driver in a pickup outside of Kansas City on Monday morning reports the Missouri State Highway Patrol. 

Robert D. Dukes, 41, of Mayview was headed west in a Chevrolet Malibu on North Outer Road near Highway O. A driver in a Chevrolet pickup, Christopher D. Talley, 31, was traveling in the opposite direction when he attempted to make a left-hand turn in the path of the Malibu and crashed into it.

Dukes was rushed to Centerpoint Medical Center with serious injuries.

Talley refused medical treatment at the scene.
