News: Passenger in Z-Trip killed after police chase ends in crash
KANSAS CITY, MO – A woman was killed and several others were injured after a collision with a driver fleeing police in Kansas City Wednesday evening.
According to KMBC, a 17-year-old driver in a stolen Dodge Caliber was being chased by police when he crashed into a Z-Trip vehicle at East Truman Road and Prospect Avenue.
A female passenger in the Z-Trip was rushed to an area hospital where she died of her injuries.
The driver of the Z-Trip was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 15-year-old male passenger in the Dodge was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The teen driver who fled authorities suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital where police detained him.
