News: 3 injured, including 2 children in crash after driver fell asleep at wheel
ANDREW COUNTY, MO – Three passengers were injured after a single-vehicle crash on I-29 northbound on Friday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Corine C. Stolhand, 29, was driving north on I-29 north of Fillmore when she fell asleep at the wheel and veered off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle struck a guardrail and became fully engulfed in flames.
Kevin M. Gill, 32, a passenger of the vehicle, suffered moderate injuries in the crash. Two children aged 2 and 4 sustained non-life-threatening injuries. They were all taken to Mosaic Life Care to be treated for injuries.
