News: 2 people on motorcycle seriously injured after hit by driver
KANSAS CITY, MO – A man and woman were hospitalized with serious injuries after being hit on their motorcycle in Independence last week.
According to FOX4, the couple were riding a Harley Davidson near Truman Road and Holke Road when a driver crashed into them on Sunday, March 20.
The driver didn’t see the motorcycle when they hit them. After impact, the two were ejected from the bike, struck a second vehicle, and landed in a ditch.
The victims were identified as Levi and Delilah Harris. Levi suffered a broken pelvis, hip, and, ankle. Delilah remains unconscious with two broken legs and frontal brain damage.
It’s not clear whether any charges have been filed at this time.
