News: Woman killed after two-vehicle collision in northern MO

UNIONVILLE, MO – A 20-year-old woman died after being involved in a collision in northern Missouri Saturday evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the fatal collision happened on County Road 175th in Putnam County around 8:50 p.m.

A 14-year-old driver in a Ford F150 was traveling west on the roadway when he crossed the center line and struck a Ford Explorer head-on. Holly D. Hydorn was driving the Explorer when it was struck.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The juvenile driver suffered moderate injuries and was taken to an area hospital.
