News: 3 hurt after Trenton Twp. two-vehicle collision

TRENTON TWP, MO – Three people, including a young child, were hurt after a collision in Grundy County Friday morning.

The crash happened on US-65 southbound at Southeast 20th Street, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Rebecca S. Steinhoff, 33, and a 4-year-old occupant in a Ford Expedition were attempting to make a left turn onto SE 20th Street when another driver slammed into the rear of the vehicle.

The driver who hit them was 24-year-old Landan P. Ellis. He suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital.

Steinhoff and the child were also transported to the same hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
