News: 3 seriously injured after wrong-way collision, driver arrested
GREENE COUNTY, MO – Three people were left with serious injuries after a collision involving a wrong-way driver on US-65 Thursday night.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Petter M. Bryant, 42, was driving a Jeep Cherokee south in the northbound lanes of US-65 north of Springfield.
He crashed head-on with an oncoming Ford F250, driven by 42-year-old Bradley D. Thomlinson of Fair Grove.
Thomlinson and a teenage female passenger in the Ford were both taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries.
Bryant suffered serious injuries and was transported to Cox North Hospital by Greene County Deputies. He remains under custody at this time.
