News: 1 killed, 2 injured after collision on US-65 in Pettis County
PETTIS COUNTY, MO – One person died and two others were hurt in a collision on US-65 near Sedalia Thursday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Victor S. Yuzkov, 63, was driving a Nissan when he attempted to cross the northbound lanes of Us-65 near Anderson School Road and collided with a Ford Edge. The impact caused the Nissan to overturn.
Yuzkov was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Nissan, Karen E. Hull, 69, was taken to Bothwell Hospital with minor injuries.
The other driver, 77-year-old Sharon A. McDonald was taken to the same hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
