News: Motorcyclist injured after two-vehicle collision on Lee’s Summit Rd.
KANSAS CITY, MO – A man was injured after he was hit by a driver in Kansas City on Monday, reports the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Morgan W. Lindsey, 24, was operating a 2011 Kawasaki southbound on Lee’s Summit Road when he struck gravel in the roadway, causing him to lose control and overturn the motorcycle. He was ejected into the roadway near E. 49th terrace Street.
70-year-old Audrey L. Peterson was driving northbound when she struck Lindsey and the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was taken to Centerpoint Hospital with moderate injuries.
