News Update: Woman injured in Blue Springs house fire passes away

KANSAS CITY, MO – A woman died of her injuries from a house fire in Blue Springs this week reports KCTV.

The woman, whose identity has not yet been released, was between 55 and 60 years old and was in critical condition before dying of her injuries.

The fire broke out at a duplex in the 700 block of SW 36th St on Monday afternoon. The cause of the fire is under investigation and authorities believe criminal activity was involved.
