News: 1 hurt in two-vehicle collision involving tractor-trailer near Clinton

HENRY COUNTY, MO – A woman was injured after a crash with a tractor-trailer just north of Clinton on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened in the northbound lanes of MO-13 at Highway M around 1 p.m.

Belinda E. Meyers, 49, of Clinton, was driving north in a Chevrolet Colorado when she slowed to make a turn. A northbound driver in a tractor-trailer failed to slow down and struck the Chevrolet in the rear.

A passenger in the Chevrolet, 72-year-old Bernice E. Martin, was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

Neither of the drivers was injured in the collision.
