News: 1 seriously injured after collision with farm equipment in Saline Co.

SALINE COUNTY, MO – A 72-year-old Slater man suffered serious injuries after a collision on Highway 240 early Friday evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Lester A. Bryant was driving a Ford pickup truck north on the highway near 270th Road when he began passing several vehicles.

Someone operating farm equipment was traveling ahead of the pickup when they made a left-hand turn. The truck crashed into the equipment.

Bryant was airlifted to a University hospital with serious injuries. No other injuries were reported.
